This page is about ACH, the token of the payments company Alchemy Pay, not ACH bank transfers. Learning how to buy Alchemy Pay is mostly a question of venue and network. In October 2026 the token trades on Coinbase, Kraken and Binance.US in the US and on Binance, OKX and Bybit abroad, and it exists in two main forms: an ERC-20 on Ethereum and a BEP-20 on BNB Chain. A third home, Alchemy Pay’s own Alchemy Chain, went live in May 2026. Picking the wrong withdrawal network is the costliest mistake, so it gets the most attention here.
Key takeaways
- ACH is listed on Coinbase, Kraken and Binance.US for US users, and on Binance, OKX, Bybit and Bitget internationally, per CoinGecko market data on 25 October 2026.
- Most exchanges withdraw ACH on Ethereum (ERC-20) or BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20). The two tokens have different contract addresses and live on different chains.
- Both versions use 0x addresses, so a MetaMask or Trust Wallet address accepts either. The network you select decides where the tokens land.
- Alchemy Chain mainnet launched on 7 May 2026 with ACH as its gas token, reached from Ethereum through a bridge.
- ACH is a small-cap token with a large maximum supply of about 15.35 billion, so price swings can be sharp.
How to buy Alchemy Pay: where ACH is listed
Alchemy Pay itself is a fiat on-ramp and merchant payments company; the business model and the token’s role are explained in our Alchemy Pay explainer. If you are comparing it with other payment-focused projects, our list of crypto built for payments puts it in context.
These venues showed ACH markets in CoinGecko’s ticker data on 25 October 2026. The table is grouped by region and is not a recommendation; check availability for your state or country inside the app.
| Venue | Region | ACH withdrawal networks to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Coinbase | US and international | Ethereum; confirm in the send screen |
| Kraken | US (most states), EU, UK | Ethereum; ACH/USD and ACH/EUR markets have run since 2021 |
| Binance.US | US | Ethereum (ERC-20) and BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20), per its listing notice |
| Binance | Outside the US | Usually both ERC-20 and BEP-20 |
| OKX, Bybit, Bitget, KuCoin, Gate | Outside the US | Varies by exchange |
| Bithumb | South Korea | KRW market |
| Uniswap v3 / PancakeSwap | Decentralized | Swap on Ethereum or BNB Chain from your own wallet |
For most people the shortest path is to buy ACH with dollars on a regulated exchange. If account setup, payment methods or exchange fees are unfamiliar, our step-by-step buying hub covers them in general terms. Note that Binance.US’s ACH listing page dates from 2022, so check the current network list there before withdrawing.
A practical tip for small purchases: ACH’s unit price is a fraction of a cent, so order sizes are quoted in thousands of tokens. That is cosmetic. What matters is the dollar value and the exchange’s spread, which can be wider on low-liquidity pairs. Compare the quote you get with the mid-market price on CoinGecko before confirming.
Which ACH network to withdraw on
If you plan to leave ACH on the exchange, you can skip this section. If you want it in your own wallet, the network choice is where money gets lost.
| Network | ACH contract (per CoinGecko) | Pay fees in | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ethereum (ERC-20) | 0xed04915c23f00a313a544955524eb7dbd823143d | ETH | Bridging to Alchemy Chain; Ethereum DeFi; the most widely supported version |
| BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) | 0xbc7d6b50616989655afd682fb42743507003056d | BNB | Lower transfer costs; PancakeSwap users |
| Alchemy Chain | Native gas token (reached via the official bridge from Ethereum) | ACH | Using apps on Alchemy Chain itself |
Contract addresses are given as plain text for checking, not as links. Confirm them on Etherscan or BscScan, or on Alchemy Pay’s official site (alchemypay.org, typed into your browser), before importing a token or swapping on a DEX.
The 0x trap
Ethereum and BNB Chain addresses look identical: both start with 0x and are 42 characters long. MetaMask and Trust Wallet use the same address on both networks. That convenience means an exchange will happily send BEP-20 ACH to the 0x address you pasted, and the tokens will arrive, but on BNB Chain. If your wallet is set to Ethereum, the balance appears to be zero. The tokens are not lost; switch the wallet to BNB Smart Chain and import the BEP-20 contract above to see them.
Where things go genuinely wrong:
- Sending to an exchange on an unsupported network. If an exchange only accepts ERC-20 ACH and you deposit BEP-20, recovery is at the exchange’s discretion and may not be possible.
- No gas on the destination chain. ERC-20 ACH in MetaMask cannot be moved without some ETH for gas; BEP-20 needs BNB. Plan for that before withdrawing.
- Swapping into a copycat. On Uniswap or PancakeSwap, search by contract address rather than by the name “ACH” or “Alchemy Pay”.
On Alchemy Chain: Alchemy Pay announced mainnet on 7 May 2026, describing a payments-focused layer 1 where ACH is the only token needed for gas, connected to Ethereum by a two-way bridge. The chain has a short track record, and we did not find major exchanges offering direct Alchemy Chain withdrawals as of October 2026. If an exchange does show an “Alchemy Chain” option, confirm the deposit address format your wallet expects before sending, and use only the bridge linked from Alchemy Pay’s official site.
Storing ACH
Because ACH’s main versions are standard EVM tokens, any EVM wallet can hold them. The common choices:
- MetaMask: add the ACH contract for the network you used; our MetaMask walkthrough shows how to import a custom token and switch networks.
- Trust Wallet: lists ACH on both Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain; make sure you enable the version that matches your withdrawal.
- Hardware wallets: Ledger and Trezor devices can sign for ERC-20 and BEP-20 tokens through a compatible wallet app, keeping keys offline for larger balances.
- Leaving it on the exchange: simplest for small, short-term holdings, with the usual counterparty risk.
A small balance of the network’s gas coin (ETH or BNB) belongs in the same wallet, otherwise ACH cannot be moved.
Risks specific to ACH
- Business vs token: Alchemy Pay’s on-ramp customers pay in local currency and receive the coin they chose. They do not need ACH, so company growth does not automatically create token demand.
- Supply: a maximum of about 15.35 billion tokens, per CoinGecko.
- Liquidity: outside the largest exchanges, ACH order books can be thin, so large orders move the price.
- New infrastructure: Alchemy Chain and its bridge are months old, and bridges are a frequent target for exploits.
ACH token vs ACH bank transfers
“ACH” also stands for the Automated Clearing House, the US bank network behind direct deposits and bank transfers. Many exchanges let you fund an account by ACH transfer, which is why a search for “buy ACH crypto” can return pages about funding methods instead of the token.
| ACH token | ACH bank transfer | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Alchemy Pay’s crypto token | A US bank-to-bank payment rail |
| Where you see it | An exchange’s coin list, as “Alchemy Pay (ACH)” | An exchange’s deposit or funding options |
| Price | Moves with the market | None; it moves dollars |
The two can meet: you might fund an exchange account by ACH bank transfer, then use those dollars to buy ACH tokens. Just be aware that exchanges often hold bank-transfer deposits for several days before you can withdraw crypto bought with them.
FAQ
Where to buy Alchemy Pay in the US?
Three US-facing platforms carried ACH in October 2026: Coinbase, Kraken (most states) and Binance.US. The bigger offshore order books on Binance.com, OKX and Bybit are closed to Americans. If you plan to withdraw to your own wallet, check which networks the platform supports for ACH and the withdrawal fee before you buy, because those differ more than trading fees do.
Is ACH an ERC-20 or BEP-20 token?
Both. ACH was issued as an ERC-20 on Ethereum, and a BEP-20 version exists on BNB Smart Chain with its own contract address. Since May 2026 ACH is also the gas token of Alchemy Chain, reached by bridging from Ethereum. Exchanges pick which versions to support, so always match the network on both the sending and receiving side.
I sent ACH to MetaMask and it is not showing. What happened?
Usually one of two things: the token has not been imported, or it arrived on a different network from the one MetaMask is showing. Check the withdrawal record on the exchange to see which network was used, switch MetaMask to that network, and import the ACH contract for that chain. The transaction hash on Etherscan or BscScan confirms where the tokens landed.
Can I buy ACH crypto with an ACH bank transfer?
Yes, on exchanges that accept US bank transfers. Deposit dollars by ACH transfer, wait for the funds to clear, then place a buy order for Alchemy Pay (ACH). Expect a holding period on withdrawals of crypto bought with recently deposited bank funds; Coinbase, Kraken and others publish their own hold rules.
